- development of mathematical methods,
algorithms and information technologies for digital image processing and pattern
recognition.
Main
results:
- ðmathematical methods, fast algorithms,
and information technologies for on-line image processing and analysis (filtration
and reconstruction, data compression, feature extraction, local object detection
and recognition) for video - information real-time systems have been developed;
- mathematical methods, algorithms
and information technologies for simulation of video-information channel of
technical vision systems including orbital optical-electronic complexes for
earth remote sensing have been developed;
- a new constructive theory and
fast algorithms of 1D and multi-dimensional discrete orthogonal transforms
and convolution calculation have been developed.
