COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM "MONITORING OF THE MICROVASSULAR SYSTEM"
based on algorithms for high-speed evaluating the geometrical parameters
of netlike structures.

Purpose: diagnostics of eye diseases via quantitatively evaluating the eye microvascular changes (conjunctiva and fundus). The system involves original techniques for evaluating microvascular parameters and a software complex for analyzing bio-microscopic image.

LLM. Adopted at research center "Medical technologies", at Samara State Medical Academy and at Laser Center of Yeroshevsky ophthalmological hospital.
  1. Input and pre-processing of fundus images.
  2. Automatic vessel tracing fragment zooming.
  3. Construction of vessel thickness diagram.
  4. Automatic database maintenance: measurements, image.
  5. Expert evaluation of pathology degree using the regressive analysis.
  6. Evaluation of pathology parameters: irregularity of vessel caliber, vessel curvature and tortuosity wall curvature and tortuosity average, vessel diameter and others.
