"Diagnostics of eye diseases from lachrymal fluid
crystal dislocations"
(using efficient digital methods for calculating the crystallogram direction field).

Purpose: introduction in clinical practice of a fundamentally new technique for eye disease diagnostics. Suitable for analysis of blood plasma and saliva crystalline structure.
Developed:
LLM. Adopted at Volgograd Medical Academy.

  1. Input and pre-processing of crystallogram images.
  2. Image and fragment zooming.
  3. Automatic database maintenance (patients, measurements, image). Generation of medical conclusions.
  4. Quantitative evaluation of pathological changes in the lachrymal fluid crystalline: unidirectedness; transparency; clearity, density.
  5. Evaluation of normal levels for every parameter.
  6. Integrated estimate of pathology probability combining classification criteria.
